Filipinos do not use underpass/overpass/footbridge or what ever you call them. They would rather risk their lives by crossing in a major highway rather than get tired of going up/down the stairs. Many people have already died because of not using these. Footbridges are very easy and convenient to use. You just have to go up and then walk for a couple of steps (unless you are crossing in EDSA) then go down and you're already there. Easy as eating pie, you get to your destinatin safely. But no, Filipinos like to play 'patintero' with the trucks, buses, cars, jeepneys in highways/roads.
