Makati at night. Every time I pass by Quezon Bridge at night, I always look outside my window. I always look at Makati. The lights of the buildings already lit up, as if inviting us to take a look of the wonderful sight. Tall buildings with colorful lights, across a dark, deep river and houses that seem to bow down to the buildings of Makati makes you wonder why is it so much better to see things at night and it also makes you forget of the traffic you are battling through.

Students getting out of school. Laughing with their friends and trying to catch the first ride they can get. Students in white uniform, a dress, and white polo barong and black pants. The students looked happy even if they are (probably) tired from all the work in school. They seemed to enjoy school without being stressed out. When I looked at their school, nothing exciting except it was already decorated with Christmas lights and they even have a huge unfinished Christmas tree.

A sea of people is what welcomed me when I stepped out of the walls of DLSU. There were a lot of people waiting for their ride home. Like me, they are also waiting for an FX that would take them home. People who looked weary from days work and people who look as if they have been waiting for years. I saw people wearing uniforms, people in civilian and there were even grade schoolers/high schoolers. There a lot of people waiting for an FX but there were few of them. Everyone looked excited to go home, that's why they're running after the FX that just turned left from Vito Cruz.

I was walking with a friend of mine in Greenhills when something caught my eye. It was the tall guy standing beside a food stall. He's very tall, and there's something in him that made me think that I already saw him before. He was with his brothers and they were buying food. They were so tall that the vendor needed to look up in order to see them. They were in a fruit shake stand ordering something. What's striking about it is that he's a basketball player from DLSU. Guess who! :) Sharing some brotherly love e. :)

I am not that fond of going to very far places if I'm alone, unless my friends are with me. The museum was not that big. I was expecting to see a big building with roman columns and white newly painted walls. The building was smaller than what I have expected it to be. What really caught my attention are the sculpture around it. It was not that grand but it's unique and it catches your attention when you first see the building. It was made of steel and it was as if the sculpture was trying to convey a person's emotions. It didn't have a face, it was not a person, more of an object sculpted to make it convey a story.

I love when I see a huge group of friends. I makes me envy them. Not that I don't have any friends, it's just that when you see other people having fun, it seems as if they are influencing with good vibes. I saw this group of friends in a mall. They were about ten in the group. Sitting inside a fast food, busy chatting with one another and the only guy in their group as busy strumming his guitar. They were nursing students from UP. What's striking about them is that they don't seem stressed. I have this notion that if you're from UP, you should look stressed and weird but they don't. (I have a weird belief) :P

Three girls were standing in front of me. All of them wearing a uniform. They were high school girls standing in front of me inside a fast food chain. They were laughing, talking about different things. They were much taller than me, but not that tall that I'll mistake them for basketball varsity players. I just miss the feeling of hanging out with your high school friends, it's easier when you share your burden to people whom you trust and have fun with.

Seedbook 63: Today's News

Manila, Philippines - What would you do if you have a two-hour class then the professor suddenly tells you that the class is over even if only thirty minutes of the class was consumed? You would be surprised right? And you would also be pissed because you spent more time waiting for your prof rather than him discussing but at the same time you would also be happy because you can hang out with your friends and do nothing. That is what the whole class of PERSEF2 C31 felt, especially the second year communication arts student Angela Valera. She exclaims, "I spent more time waiting for my prof than the actual class. I went to the classroom early so that I will not have to take the stairs going up but then he just cut the class." It is not normal for profs to just cut a class like taht. "Probably he has reasons why he did that. I just don't know why he didin't just tell us a week before so that we wouldn't have to go to the classroom and waste time walking very far.", cries Angela.

Seedbook 58: Today's News

Manila, Philippines - One of the fifteen students who took the MASSCOM midterm exam found it easier to answer the test than before. The student, named Angela Valera, said that compared to last time she took the exam, she dound it easier to answer the test now because she already had an idea on the exam is. She said, "Mas madali ngayon, kasi yung exam na tinake ko last term, yun ulit yung sinagutan namin ngayong term.

Hopefully, she said, that all of them will pass the said exam to reach their goal of a grade of 2.5. "I am keeping my fingers crossed.", she exclaimed.

Seedbook 57: Today's News

Ayon sa kanya, "Masaya yung game show, nakakatuwa.

Kanyang natatawang sinabi.

Seedbook 52: Today I Learned

  • Today, I learned that the celebration of All Saints Day is not as solemn as before. We went  to Pampanga to visit the grave of our dead relatives. When I was younger, November 1 is like a reunion for our family. Almost all of my relatives are there and me and my cousins would be together playing all day. But that was it. Yesterday, I saw a lot of people bringing TONS of food in the cemetery. It seemed that there's a fiesta going on; different families brought spaghetti, dinuguan, caldereta, softdrinks and a whole lot more. It seems like I was in a bloc part. tss.
  • I learned that my mom has so maaaaaaaannnnnnnny relatives. They already fil up 20%-30% of the cemetery.
  • My mom's dad's mother (my great grandfather) is younger by one year than my great grandfather.
  • Half of the people in the cemetery know my family or know one of my relatives.
